Dear Sebastian,

Darn, today you’re going back to Delft and I still had not written anything in your diary!

I’ve been taking care of you for a few weeks and I’ve seen you grow and grow!! In one day only you grew 65 grams! Your mama and papa are very proud of you and so am I.

You’re yellow color is getting less and less which is of course a great sign. Drinking your bottle is going well now, you’re choking (and setting off alarms) much less now.

Keep it up dear Sebastian and you’ll surely turn into a big boy so you can go to sunny Malaysia with mama and papa.

Lots of love and big hugs Esme (the nurse that always wrapped you in blankets)

Hallo Sebastiaan,

Hello Sebastian,

We also want to welcome you into this world. You little man, so tender, small and fine, I would love to cuddle you. You’re still staying in a warm little nest with loving parents who still have to share you with loving nurses and doctors. I’ve already seen your pictures and I must say that you a very wise look. A real man to be proud off. Now I wish you lots of strength, luck and love and I hope to see you in the flesh sometime.

Your great aunt Corrie

Dear Sebastian,

I have been allowed to take care of you a few time already. So it was high time for me to write a little something for you. You’re a sweet little boy who tries very hard. We heard today that you’ll be leaving us already. Too bad for us, but of course much better for you, papa and mama. This is clearly another step closer to going home. Keep up the effort in Delft just like you did here and make sure that papa and mama are proud of you. Come and see us again when you have to visit the poly clinic. We want to see how you’re growing into a big boy.

Big hug,

Natalie

Dear Sebastian,

This weekend I’m taking care of you and I like that. You’re nicely alert, very curious because you’re looking around you all the time to see what is happening and you’re sucking hard on your pacifier cause you’re a thirsty boy. You haven’t quite figured out that nothing comes out of the pacifier so you’re still quite satisfied, even though every once in a while you look as if to say “Where is the milk?”. You’ve grown and are on your way to become a big boy. Papa and mama are coming by as often as they can and you think that is great. You protested quite a lot last night when they went home. Hopefully things will keep going well so you can go home with papa and mama. Then they can spoil you all day long.

Well Sebastian, keep up the good work and always remain as nice a boy as you are now.

Martine

Eerste Knuffel

Dag allerliefste knuffel van me,

Hello dearest cuddlebear of mine,

Today was the first time we got to cuddle up together, and it was wonderful! You are so nice and soft and warm and you lay very cozily up against me. I’ve really enjoyed you. On sunday I’ll come and see you again and I hope that opa and oma will give me some cuddle time with you as well, because we are already vying for your attention. Tante Tini is unfortunately not much of a writer, I enjoy chatting live with you much more, so that is why this is such a short note. I want to finish by letting you know that I’m extremely proud of you, you’re a real tiger, but with such super parents that is of course no surprise!!!!

Lots of love and see you sunday, big kiss

Tante Tini.
