Off To Malaysia

I don’t know how many people are still reading this, but I figures this is probably the easiest way to keep communicating to all our friends and family. Our move to Malaysia is now imminent. We are flying out on June 23th, which is great timing considering it is right in the middle of the world cup. Oh well, there is no postponing it any longer. Everybody is healthy now.
Sebastian is simply doing great. Everything that the doctors prepared us for has not come to be. He is still growing like crazy. His current weight puts him right in the middle of the growth charts, he is catching up in height, and he has beautiful fat rolls all over his body. The worst of his cramping is mostly gone and the reflux has not gotten any worse. Best of all is his muscular and motor skills (no, not the one with an engine) are developing really well. It seems that he is a little bit ahead when comparing to other children at his gestational age. If he continues at the current pace I predict that he will be sitting upright by himself before he hits four months (7 months, from his dob). When pulling him to an upright position he prefers to get to a standing position instead of simply sitting. I have a feeling that we’ll have to put a leash on him by the time he hits 9 months. He already talks as much as his mother does, however he seems to have developed a language of his own which closely resembles papas speech after 6 jack & cokes and 5 jeagermeisters. Let’s see what happens when we throw in a bit of the native languages of Malaysia. Boy, is he going to be one confused child.
