This is a video of a couple of places we visited during our road trip at the end of 2007. The first place is called Sukau. Here we stayed at an eco-friendly (i.e. no air-conditioning) resort in the middle of the jungle. We took several trips on the river to spot lots of animals. Unfortunately we missed a herd of elephants that were spotted the day we arrived. The second place is the world famous Sepilok Urang-Utan reserve. This is one of two places on the island we’re they have put feeding platforms in place to ensure young urang-utans get a chance to survive their childhood years. All in all a beautiful trip and highly recommended to anybody.
