Hello Sweetheart,

Yesterday something wonderful happened to me. Papa, opa, tante Tini and I arrived at the hospital when your mama handed you to me and I got to hold you for the very first time. I did not see you for the first ten minutes, due to the tears running down my cheeks (from happiness only!)

It was so wonderful, I also got to feed you a bottle. I was so happy, it’s been a long time since I beamed like that.

Opa and tante Tini were smelling you the whole time as you smelled delicious after your very first bath. You are becoming such a lovely little boy. Next week opa gets to hold you, I think he was a little bit jealous, but he got over that pretty quickly. Tante Tini will get her turn as well, you see we’re already fighting over who gets to hold you, but I will never forget this first time!!!

Keep on growing my life so that you can go home soon. That way we can all cuddle you as much as we want. We’ll come and see you again on Sunday and until then I’ll admire you on the computer.

Opa and I really enjoyed being with you last Saturday. You were so cute, and really beautiful (I really mean to say, the most beautiful boy in existence, but I guess all grandmas say that)

You’re doing so well that they have moved you already. I must say that I’m very happy, although I really don’t like the fact that I can’t admire you on the computer anymore.

Luckily, I printed out a fantastic picture of you yesterday. You’re holding your hands in front of your eyes as if trying to say “now you’ve looked at me long enough, no more please”. How nice you are lying there again, you are really starting to get nice and round. I just can’t get enough of you. I just heard from your papa that you gained quite a bit of weight again, well keep it up. You do not have to look like grandma whose “coat” is getting a little large. You are now already 6 1/2 weeks with us while normally you should still have been with your mama for another 5 weeks. But we have gotten to admire you much earlier now than normal.
