Iphone Address Book is a wordpress theme for the fantastic wordpress adaptation WP Contact Manager by David Yeiser at http://thedesigncanopy.com. Please make sure to follow his installation steps first. After the site is working correctly using his theme you can switch themes to start using it on your iphone.

This is still very rough around the edges and will contain lots of bugs. The next step is to integrate this into David’s theme so that the site automatically switches to the right format depending on the browser used.

Features

1.     lists 10 contacts per page
   

2.     Search works, although I’m baffled with the iphone’s rendering of the search button
   

3.     clicking on the contact’s address will bring up the maps application
   

4.     clicking on the email address will start a new email message
   

5.     clicking on a phone number will allow you to place a call
   

To Do

1.     Add contact picture
   

2.     Fix search button
   

3.     Integrate into WP Contact Manager theme
   

4.     Design custom “Add contact page” (Probably a long shot..)
   

This theme is released for you to do with as you please. No need to ask, however if you come up with something better than this I’d appreciate it if you can send me an email so I can forget this project.
